As a result of the Washington Trout water type survey, many corrections will be made to in the water type designations of the Washington State Department of Natural Resources. Washington Trout has submitted the results of the surveys to the DNR in order to upgrade or, in limited cases, downgrade the water type designation of Vashon Island streams. The following tallies represent the total length of streams for which upgrades or downgrades have been requested.
