Bobbi grew up as the daughter of a Sailor on Oahu and has been exploring aquatic habitats as long as she can remember. That curiosity and love for the natural world propelled them to earn a degree in Biology at Western Washington University and has taken them to study habitats that are very different from Hawaiian reefs and forests. This includes trekking to the Arctic Circle for permafrost climate research and working with NOAA on the East Coast to explore how aquaculture gear may create habitat for fish. However the bulk of her fieldwork and interest lies in the Pacific Northwest forests and aquatic habitats - specifically with the fish that utilize these spaces. Bobbi is super excited to work with the Wild Fish Conservancy and use what they've learned about science and stewardship to ensure that future generations have the opportunity to form a relationship with wild fish and healthy habitats. With their personal time Bobbi likes to explore the world via climbing, biking, painting and soapmaking. Pronouns: They/She
