Consent Decree Between Plaintiffs Wild Fish Conservancy and The Conservation Angler and Defendants Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Officials in Mitchell Act & SAFE hatchery lawsuit, Case 3:24-cv-05296-BHS

On September 19, 2024, Wild Fish Conservancy, The Conservation Angler, and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife submitted a proposed joint consent decree in the Western District Court of Washington to settle claims in an Endangered Species Act (“ESA”) lawsuit regarding the funding and operation of Mitchell Act and Select Area Fishery Enhancement (“SAFE”) program hatcheries in the lower Columbia River below Bonneville Dam. The Court entered the Consent Decree on October 10, 2024.
