Letter from former WA Fish and Wildlife Commissioners to the WA state Legislature regarding Hatchery Policy Changes

A letter delivered to the Washington legislature by five former Fish and Wildlife Commissioners responsible for developing and approving the Department’s Hatchery and Harvest Reform Policy in the early 2000’s. In the letter, these former leaders of Fish and Wildlife express concern over the current Commission’s 2018 decision to make sweeping policy changes that reverse these earlier commitments to hatchery reform.
