Third Finn Creek Public Outreach Meeting: February 27th at 5:00pm at the Greater Hansville Community Center

After refining the restoration project designs over the past year to incorporate prior public input and new modeling data, Wild Fish Conservancy, Blue Coast Engineering, and Kitsap County will hold a third public meeting to share final designs on February 27th, 2024 from 5:00pm to 6:30pm at the Greater Hansville Community Center.

The Finn Creek Restoration Project will restore important estuary habitat at the Norwegian Point County Park, benefitting salmon and other wildlife, while making the park more useable and enjoyable for the public. Restoring important saltwater habitat at the Norwegian Point Park will benefit salmon and other native wildlife, and increase park amenities for the public. Over the past year the project team has incorporated community feedback, increased the amount of parking, and updated the preliminary designs to address flooding and reduce potential erosion identified in the design process.

We hope you’ll join us, from 5pm to 6:30pm on February 27th at the Greater Hansville Community Center.
